Drug formulation: drops for oral administration, film-coated pills
Composition:
100g of liquid contains the following active substances:
common cypress (Agnus castus) dry extract of fruit 0.192 - 0.288 g, corresponds to 2.4g medicinal vegetative raw material.
Auxiliary substances: povidone, sorbitol 70% (noncristallized), polysorbate 20, sodium saccharate dihydrate, aromatizer of pepper mint, ethanol 96%, treated water.
1 film-coated pill, contains the following active substances:
common cypress (Agnus castus) dry extract of fruit 3.2 - 4.8 mg, corresponds to 40 mg medicinal vegetative raw material.
Auxiliary substances: povidone, colloid silicone dioxide, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Coating contents: talcium, titanium dioxide (IV) (Е 171), yellow iron oxide (Е 172), indigotine (Е 132), macrogol 6000, copolymer of emithocrylic and ethacrylic acids.
Description:
Drops - transparent, light-brown liquid with the smell of common cypress fruit. Light precipitation is possible in the process of the storage.
Pills - round, double radius, of greenish-blue color with lustreless surface.
Pharmacotherapeutic group: medicine of the vegetative origin.

Pharmacological action:
The components of the preparation produce the normalizing effect on the concentration of the sexual hormones. Common cypress is the basic active component. Dopaminergic effects of the preparation remove hyperprolactinemia, producing the decrease of prolactin production. The raised concentration of prolactin interrupts honadropines' secretion, as a result the disorders of follicular gestation, ovulations and the formation of yellow body may appear, and that further can lead to disbalance between estradiol and progesterone and also may lead to the disorders of the menstrual cycle and mastalgia. As opposed to estrogen and other hormones, prolactin produces also direct stimulating effect on the proliferative processes in the mammary glands, strengthening the development of the connective tissue and producing the distention of galactophorous ducts. The decrese of prolactin content leads to devolution of pathological processes in mammary glands and arrests pain syndrome. Rhuthmic production and normalization of interrelation of gonadotropins leads to normalization of the second phase of the menstrual cycle.
Indications for use:
disorders of menstrual cycle, premenstrual syndrome, mastalgia.
Contra indications: individual hyper sensibility to the components of the preparation.
Application during pregnancy and breast-feeding period: it is not recommended to apply preparation during the period of pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Posology and method of administration:
Shake drops for oral administration before application!
Apply orally by 40 drops 1 time a day in the morning with some amount of water.
Apply film-coated pills orally by 1 pill 1 time a day in the morning, without chewing, drinking with some amount of water.
The treatment is provided during 3 months without break in the period of menstruation.
Side effects: allergic skin response is met very rarely. Rarely the cases of psychomotor excitability, confused mental state and hallucinations may happen to appear.
Overdosage: the cases of overdosage are unknown.
Interaction with other medicine:
The weakening of action of the medicine is possible of the patients, who apply antagonists of dopamine receptors. The interaction with other medicine is not found up to the present time.
Special remarks:
It is recommended to consult a physician if there will be aches in mammary glands and/or weakness, depression, and also menstrual disorders.
It is not recommended to apply drops for oral administration after the successful anti-alcohol treatment.
Film-coated pills contain milk sugar (lactose). Lactose intolerance may be considered as possible reason of aches in epigastria area and diarrhea.
The preparation does not decrease the ability to drive a car or work with mechanisms.
Note for the patients with pancreatic diabetes: patients with pancreatic diabetes may apply drops and pills Cyclodynon, because the single dosage of this preparation contains less than 0.03 "bread units".
Form of issue:
Drops for oral administration are put in bottles by 50 and 100 ml. 1 bottle is put in the cardboard pack together with the instruction.
Film-coated pills are in blisters. There are 15 pills in each blister. 2 blisters (30 pills) and 4 blisters (60 pills) are put in the cardboard pack together with the instruction.
Storage conditions:
Drops for oral administration: keep in dry and shadowed place, at temperature up to 25оС .
Film-coated pills: keep in dry and shadowed place, at temperature up to 25оС.
Keep away from children! Light precipitation is possible in the process of the storage of drops for oral administration. It does not influence on the effectiveness of the preparation.
Expire date: 3 years. Do not use preparation if the expiry date (month and year) printed on the pack has passed.
