Composition:
Shoots of Common Bilberry - 20%
Valves of the kidney beans' fruits - 20%
Rhizomes and roots of eleutherococcus - 15%
Fruits of dog rose - 15%
Herbs of bottle brush - 10%
Herbs of St. John's wort - 10%
Flores of Chamomile - 10%
Description:
A pounded raw product. A mixture of heterogeneous particles of the herbal raw product of grayish-green colour with the specks of light-yellow, grayish-brown, cream, yellowish-gray, orange-red, brownish-red, and white colours.
The odour is faint, aromatic. The taste of water extraction is bitterish-sour.
A powder. A mixture of heterogeneous particles of the herbal raw product of yellowish-green colour with the specks of brownish-red, dark-green, yellowish-white, cream, grayish-brown, and brown colours.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Hypoglycemic agent of herbal origin.
Pharmacological action:
An infusion of the mixture has a hypoglycemic action, favours the lowering blood glucose content, increases the tolerance towards the carbohydrates, and increases the glycogenous-generating liver function.
Application indications:
Pancreatic diabetes of 2nd type (insulin-independent): in a light form - as an agent of self-therapy; in a half-hard severity - in combination with the sugar-lowering preparations or insulin.
Contra-indications:
A hyper individual sensitization to the preparation, nephritis, arterial hypertension, stomach- and duodenum ulcer, hyperexcitability, insomnia, epilepsy.
Method of application and doses:
A pounded raw product. Put approximately 5 g. (1 table spoon) of the mixture into the enameled ware, fill up with hot boiled water (200 ml - 1 glass), cover, and heat up on a water bath 15 minutes, cool for 45 minutes at room temperature, filter, wring out the remained raw materials. Bring the volume of the received infusion with boiled water to 200 ml.
Use internally in a warm form on 1/3-1/2 of a glass 2-3 times a day, in 30 minutes before meal, during 20-30 days. The treatment course should be repeated after 10-15 days. There should be about 3-4 courses of treatment during the year (when agreed with an attending medical doctor).
It is recommended to shake up the infusion before use.
Filter-packages: put 2 filter- packages (4 g.) in a glass or enameled ware, fill in 200 ml (1 glass) of boiled water, cover, and brew 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, and then wring them out.
Bring the volume of the received infusion with boiled water to 200 ml.
Use internally in a warm form on 1/2 of a glass 2-3 times a day, in 30 minutes before meal, during 20-30 days.

Side reactions:
There are possible allergic reactions, heartburn, rise of arterial pressure, sleep disturbance.
Special indications:
The use of "Afrazetine-E" mixture should be agreed with an attending medical doctor.
With the use of the infusion in combination with antidiabetic preparations, one should follow the application rules, precaution measures, and contra-indications specified for these preparations.
It is not recommended to take "Afrazetine-E" at the second part of a day in order not to disturb sleep.
Release form:
A pounded raw product - in 30 g., 35 g., 40 g., 50 g., 60 g., 75 g., 100 g. in cardboard packs with an inner package.
The powder - in filter-sachets in 2 g.; in 10 or 20 filter-sachets in cardboard packs with an inner package.
Storage conditions:
A mixture should be stored in a dry, light-protected place.
A ready infusion should be stored in a dry, cool place for no more than 2 days.
Keep away from children.
Expiration date:
2 years.
Do not use after the expiration date specified on a package.
