Annual competition for the best scientific and research work
DISPOSITIONAnnual competition for the best scientific and research work, exercise-book(educational or training guidance), Resource Book in the field of naturotherapy and naturopharmacy, homeopathy and other trends of traditional medicine.
Introduction. Current disposition is worked out according to the regulations of NO "Professional Association of Naturotherapists" with the purposes:- To cooperate with the scientific researches in the field of naturotherapy, naturopharmacy, homeopathy and complementary sciences
- To apply the results of the scientific researches and leading medical (pharmaceutic) technologies in the native production, medical and educational practice
- For the broader reach of specialists and citizens of Russian Federation with the high qualified and trustworthy information in the field of naturotherapy, naturopharmacy, homeopathy and complementary sciences
1. General Requirements
1.1.Competition for the best work in the field of naturotherapy and naturopharmacy, homeopathy and other trends of traditional medicine is held on the ground of decision of the General Assembly of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists of 29.01.2009 with the purpose to develop the fundamental and applied researches in the field of naturotherapy nand naturopharmacy, homeopathy and other trends of the traditional medicine, as well as more full use of the scientific potential of the higher school and specialists on the academic and traditional medicine and pharmacy for the solving the problems of citizens' health protection.
1.2. Competition for the best scientific work is regularly held (once a year) and is stated by the order of the President of the NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
1.3. The competition approves:
Exact academic and research works or period of works on the topical problems of the social, natural and human sciences, having big economical, scientific, social-economic significance, done within two years, predating the year of competition holding and published in the open printing.
1.4. Competition is held separately among the works, done by the individual researches and works, done by the corporate author at the categories:
• Initiative ARW;
• ARW, provided with the grants and programme;
• Textbooks and training aids
• Training and resource books
1.5. Form of presentation of the scientific works:
• Period of the scientific articles (not less than 3);
• Monography;
• Textbooks and training aids
• Training and resource books
1.6. Competition doesn't approve
• Theses and synopsis of a thesis
1.7. Authors (coauthors) of the works presented should be:
• Citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign countries.
1.8 Competition can be held according to the following branches of the science:

1.9. Works, presented for the competition, are examined by the two commissions:
• Commission № 1 for the social and human sciences
• Commission№ 2 for the natural and engineering sciences
There are colleagues and members of the Board of Academics of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists, as well as scientists and specialists in the composition of the commission. The commission is annually approved by the President of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
1.10. Competition commission has a right for:
1.10.1. Charging the colleagues of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists, having experience and qualification, with the examining of some works, presented for the competition.
1.10.2. Expertizing the scientific and scientific-technical value of the works.
1.10.3. Referring the works presented to the other academic and research organizations, intruding the working outs in the field of naturotherapy, naturopharmacy, homeopathy and other branches of traditional medicine, as well as medical and pharmaceutic IHE for the review.
1.10.4. Inviting the representatives of the other institutions, organizations or IHE to the commission session in case of need.
1.11. Review and approval of the competition commission decision is held at the general assembly of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
1.12. Authors of the best scientific works are awarded with the Shen Nung medal
In case of sponsoring lack, incentive compensation of the best works' authors is specified only for the staff of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
In case of sponsor availability, the sum of the prize fund is annually approved by the order of the President of the NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
1.13. Reviewing and expertise of the works are financed by the authors (corporate authors) on an agreed basis at the rate of 4800 RUB per each work.
1.14 Reviewing and expertise of the work is held not later than one month from the date of contract execution and work presentation.
2. Order of presentation and examination of the academic and research works of the textbooks (training aids), resources books.
2.1. Following documents are attached to the each work presented:
• Decision of the institution of the work presentation (Extract from the department session or Board of Academics record); referral from the organization, on base of which the work was done (publishing houses, where the work was printed)
• The list of authors, including the name and surname, academic title and degree, current position, places of work;
• Annotation of the work not more than three pages;
• 2 applied reviews;
• The copies of the certificates, patents and other documents, reflecting the public recognition of the work or its practical introduction.
• Information about the practical use of the results of the academic and research work in the national economy and academic activity.
2.2. All materials are presented in the special case in a single copy (annotations, articles, theses and other materials with all the data and its electronic versions) and published at the official page of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
2.3. Competition commission is in a right to take a decision, if not less than 2\3 of the commission composition is absent at the session. The decision is approved in case of majority vote of the commission members.
2.4. The members of the competition commission, having presented their works for the competition, cannot take part in the voting while choosing the works, recommended for the awarding.
2.5. Approval of the documents for the competition, its registration as well as all paperwork during the competition is held by the managing director of the NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
2.6. The results of the competition are confirmed by the order of the President of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists and are announced on the official web-page of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
3. Order of awarding the competition winners
3.1 Presentation of the Shen Nung medals and Certificates to them, as well as prize money is held on the general assembly of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists or on the Board of Academics session or on the congresses or conferences with the participation of NO Professional Association of Naturotherapists.
3.2. If the corporate author is awarded by the medal, then each of the coauthors gets the medal and certificate. Prize money from the prize fund is given to the authors' team.
